Eligibility
Management Quota is not a separate route from NEET. Students seeking MBBS admission through Management Quota seats in participating private medical colleges in Chhattisgarh must qualify NEET-UG and meet the applicable academic and admission requirements. Management Quota admissions are included within the state’s prescribed admission rules and counselling process.
NEET-UG Qualification
You must qualify NEET-UG for the relevant admission year. A separate entrance examination is not required for Management Quota MBBS seats.
Class 12 / Equivalent Qualification
You must have passed Class 12 or an equivalent examination from a recognised board with the subjects required for MBBS admission. The Chhattisgarh admission rules prescribe the applicable academic requirements for medical admissions.
Required Subjects & Marks
You should have studied Physics, Chemistry, Biology/Biotechnology and English and meet the applicable minimum marks and NEET qualifying requirements for the admission year.
Minimum Age Requirement
Candidates must satisfy the applicable NEET-UG age requirement for the admission year. For the 2027 admission cycle, the final age requirement should be checked against the NEET-UG 2027 information bulletin once published.
Chhattisgarh Domicile / Eligibility
Chhattisgarh domicile is not required for Management Quota seats in private medical colleges. Under the Chhattisgarh Medical, Dental and Physiotherapy Undergraduate Admission Rules, candidates from outside Chhattisgarh can be eligible for Management Quota seats if they meet the applicable eligibility requirements.
However, domicile requirements apply differently to Government Quota seats, so Management Quota and Government Quota eligibility should not be treated as the same.
Chhattisgarh Counselling Registration
After qualifying NEET-UG, candidates must complete the applicable Chhattisgarh NEET-UG counselling registration and choice-filling process conducted by the Commissionerate of Medical Education, Chhattisgarh.
The current 2026 counselling process includes online registration, merit lists, choice filling and seat allotment for MBBS/BDS admissions.
Can You Apply for a Management-Quota MBBS Seat?
Process
Management Quota is not a direct admission route. Candidates must qualify NEET-UG and follow the applicable Chhattisgarh NEET-UG counselling process. The Commissionerate of Medical Education, Chhattisgarh conducts the state counselling process, including registration, merit lists, choice filling and seat allotment.
*Pay counselling and college fees only through the official portal or the medical college's verified payment channel, as instructed by the competent authority. Always obtain a receipt. Never pay anyone for a “guaranteed,” “blocked,” “confirmed,” or “offline” MBBS seat.
