Management Quota seats are identified within Gujarat's official counselling system. The exact Management Quota seat availability varies by institution and the applicable seat matrix. Students should use the official ACPUGMEC seat matrix rather than applying a fixed percentage to every private medical college.
Important: Some Gujarat institutions, including GMERS Medical Colleges and Gujarat Adani Institute of Medical Sciences, Bhuj, do not have regular Management Quota seats in the stated seat structure. ACPUGMEC has specified that vacant NRI seats in these institutions may be converted and filled as Management Quota seats with Management Quota fees during the applicable counselling process.
Management Quota fees vary by college and the fee structure approved for the applicable admission period. ACPUGMEC publishes sanctioned seats and tuition-fee information for Gujarat medical colleges through its official counselling portal. Eligibility
Management Quota is not a separate entrance route from NEET-UG. Students seeking MBBS admission through Management Quota seats in eligible private medical colleges in Gujarat must qualify NEET-UG and satisfy the applicable academic and admission requirements. Gujarat conducts admissions to Management Quota seats through the official ACPUGMEC counselling process.
NEET-UG Qualification
You must qualify NEET-UG for the relevant admission year. There is no separate entrance examination for Management Quota MBBS admission. NEET-UG is the common entrance examination for undergraduate medical admissions.
Class 12 / Equivalent Qualification
You must have passed Class 12 or an equivalent examination and meet the academic eligibility requirements applicable to MBBS admission.
Required Subjects & Marks
You must have studied Physics, Chemistry, Biology/Biotechnology and English and satisfy the applicable minimum marks and eligibility requirements for the relevant admission year.
Minimum Age Requirement
Candidates must satisfy the NEET-UG age requirements applicable to the admission year. For the 2027 admission cycle, the final NEET-UG 2027 bulletin should be checked once officially published rather than presenting a future-year requirement as confirmed. The current official NEET information available is for 2026.
Gujarat Domicile / Eligibility
Gujarat has specific state eligibility conditions for Management Quota admissions. Under the current Gujarat rules, candidates seeking Management Quota admission generally need to meet the applicable Gujarat schooling and domicile/birth requirements. The official Gujarat admission information states that candidates must have completed Class 10 and Class 12 from schools in Gujarat and either be born in Gujarat or have Gujarat domicile, subject to the applicable admission rules.
Therefore, Gujarat Management Quota should not be presented as an unrestricted all-India Management Quota option. Candidates from outside Gujarat should check the applicable category and eligibility rules before applying.
Gujarat Counselling Registration
After qualifying NEET-UG, eligible candidates must complete the official ACPUGMEC registration and online choice-filling process for Gujarat MBBS admissions.
ACPUGMEC states that the admission process for 100% of medical and dental undergraduate seats in Gujarat, including Government Quota, Management Quota and NRI Quota seats, is conducted online by the Admission Committee on a merit basis.
