Management Quota fees vary according to the applicable fee structure and college. Eligibility
Management Quota is not a separate route from NEET. Students seeking MBBS admission through Management Quota in eligible self-financing medical colleges in Tamil Nadu must qualify NEET-UG and satisfy the academic and category-specific eligibility requirements. Tamil Nadu conducts a separate official counselling process for Management Quota, including applicable Minority and NRI seats.
NEET-UG Qualification
You must qualify NEET-UG for the relevant admission year. NEET-UG is the required entrance examination for MBBS admission, including Management Quota seats.
Class 12 / Equivalent Qualification
You must have passed Class 12 or an equivalent examination with the subjects required for MBBS admission and satisfy the applicable academic eligibility criteria.
Required Subjects & Marks
You should have studied Physics, Chemistry, Biology/Biotechnology and English and meet the prescribed minimum marks requirement for MBBS admission.
Minimum Age Requirement
Candidates must satisfy the NEET-UG age requirement applicable to the admission year. For the 2027 admission cycle, the final age requirement should be confirmed from the official NEET-UG 2027 information bulletin once published.
Tamil Nadu Domicile / Eligibility
Tamil Nadu domicile should not be presented as a universal requirement for Management Quota admission. The eligibility rules for Management Quota are governed by the applicable Tamil Nadu Management Quota prospectus and can differ from the eligibility rules for Government Quota.
The current Tamil Nadu Management Quota prospectus specifically provides separate eligibility provisions for candidates applying under Management Quota, so candidates should check the applicable category requirements before applying.
Tamil Nadu Counselling Registration
After qualifying NEET-UG, candidates must complete the official Tamil Nadu MBBS/BDS counselling registration and choice-filling process for Management Quota through the Tamil Nadu Selection Committee.

Process
Management Quota is not a direct admission route. Candidates must qualify NEET-UG and complete the official Tamil Nadu MBBS counselling process conducted by the Tamil Nadu Selection Committee. The current process includes separate Management Quota applications, merit lists, choice filling and round-wise seat allotment.
