Eligibility
Management Quota is not a separate entrance route from NEET-UG. Students seeking MBBS admission through applicable management-category seats in participating private medical colleges in Uttar Pradesh must qualify NEET-UG and satisfy the academic and counselling requirements for the relevant admission year. The UP NEET counselling system includes registration, security-fee payment, choice filling and seat allotment for eligible candidates.
NEET-UG Qualification
You must qualify NEET-UG for the relevant admission year. NEET-UG is the common entrance examination used for undergraduate medical admissions, including MBBS admissions in private medical institutions.
Class 12 / Equivalent Qualification
You must have passed Class 12 or an equivalent examination and meet the academic eligibility prescribed for MBBS admission.
Required Subjects & Marks
You must have studied the required Physics, Chemistry, Biology/Biotechnology and English subjects and satisfy the applicable minimum marks requirements prescribed for MBBS admission.
Minimum Age Requirement
Candidates must satisfy the NEET-UG age requirement applicable to the relevant admission year. For the 2027 page, the final age requirement should be checked in the official NEET-UG 2027 Information Bulletin once published. The current NTA website provides the 2026 bulletin, so a 2027-specific age rule should not be presented as officially confirmed yet.
Uttar Pradesh Domicile / Eligibility
Uttar Pradesh domicile should not be presented as a universal requirement for private medical college seats. Eligibility can differ according to the applicable seat category, institution and UP counselling rules. The official UP counselling portal separately lists participating private medical colleges and publishes the applicable counselling information.
Uttar Pradesh Counselling Registration
After qualifying NEET-UG, candidates seeking applicable private/management-category MBBS seats must complete the official UP NEET-UG counselling process. The current UP process includes:

Can You Apply for a Management-Quota MBBS Seat?
Process
Management Quota is not a direct admission route. Candidates must qualify NEET-UG and complete the applicable official Uttar Pradesh NEET-UG counselling process. The current UP counselling system includes registration, security-fee payment, choice filling, seat allotment and admission-related procedures.
