Eligibility
Management Quota is not a separate route from NEET. Students seeking MBBS admission through Management Quota seats in participating West Bengal private medical colleges must qualify NEET-UG and satisfy the applicable academic and counselling requirements. Management Quota seats are allotted through the West Bengal Medical Counselling Committee (WBMCC) counselling process rather than through direct college-level admission.
NEET-UG Qualification
You must qualify NEET-UG for the relevant admission year. NEET-UG is the required entrance examination for MBBS admission, including Management Quota seats.
Class 12 / Equivalent Qualification
You must have passed Class 12 or an equivalent examination with the subjects required for MBBS admission.
Required Subjects & Marks
You must have studied Physics, Chemistry, Biology/Biotechnology and English and meet the applicable minimum academic requirements for MBBS admission. The final eligibility requirements for 2027 should be checked against the official NEET-UG and WBMCC 2027 notices when published.
Minimum Age Requirement
Candidates must satisfy the applicable NEET-UG age requirement for the year of admission. For the 2027 admission cycle, the final age rule should be confirmed from the official NEET-UG 2027 information bulletin once published. The page should not present a 2027 age date as officially confirmed before that bulletin is released.
West Bengal Domicile
West Bengal domicile is not required for Management Quota seats in private medical colleges. WBMCC's counselling information states that candidates who are not domiciled in West Bengal can participate for Management Quota seats in private colleges. Domicile requirements applicable to State Quota seats should therefore not be applied to Management Quota seats.
WBMCC Counselling Registration
After qualifying NEET-UG, candidates seeking Management Quota seats must participate in the official West Bengal UG Medical & Dental Counselling conducted by WBMCC. The counselling process includes online registration, document verification, merit-list preparation, choice filling and seat allotment according to the applicable rules.

Management Quota is not a direct admission route.
