B.P. Poddar Institute of Management and Technology, established in 1999, has emerged as a prominent technical institution in Eastern India. The institute is approved by AICTE (All India Council for Technical Education) and affiliated with Maulana Abul Kalam Azad University of Technology (MAKAUT), formerly known as WBUT.
