NRI admission rules vary widely across states. Here are the key highlights:
✔ Chandigarh
Only students who have studied abroad for at least three years and applied under the NRI category in NEET are eligible for NRI seats at GMC Chandigarh.
✔ Punjab
Government and private colleges offer NRI seats, but the candidate or their guardian must be an actual NRI.
Sponsorship is not allowed in Punjab.
✔ Himachal Pradesh
Both government and private medical colleges offer NRI seats.
