NRI quota refers to specific admission categories available to eligible Non-Resident Indian candidates in participating medical institutions. NRI-quota eligibility is not defined by one universal rule. The accepted applicant category, sponsor relationship, documents and counselling route can differ between MCC and state counselling authorities. Applicants should identify their specific category first and then verify the applicable official rules.

NRI Parent / Relative

OCI Cardholder

OCI candidates may be considered under the admission rules applicable to their category and counselling route. Required documents and eligibility conditions should be checked with the relevant authority.

Foreign National

Foreign nationals may have a separate admission route with specific NEET, academic, nationality and documentation requirements. The applicable counselling authority and institution rules should be reviewed.
