West Bengal has multiple private medical colleges offering MBBS programmes, including colleges in Kolkata and the surrounding region. The final 2027 participating-college list and approved intake should be checked against the latest NMC and WBMCC information. Management Quota seats are available in eligible private medical colleges and are included in the official WBMCC seat matrix. The number of Management Quota seats varies by college and can change by counselling year and round. Eligibility
Management Quota is not a separate route from NEET. Students seeking MBBS admission through Management Quota seats in participating private medical colleges in Kolkata and West Bengal must qualify NEET-UG and satisfy the applicable academic and admission requirements. Management Quota seats are allotted through the authorised counselling process conducted by WBMCC, not through direct college-level seat booking.
NEET-UG Qualification
You must qualify NEET-UG for the relevant admission year. NEET-UG is the required entrance examination for MBBS admission, including applicable Management Quota seats.
Class 12 / Equivalent Qualification
You must have passed Class 12 or an equivalent examination with the subjects required for MBBS admission.
Required Subjects & Marks
Candidates must have studied Physics, Chemistry, Biology/Biotechnology and English and meet the applicable minimum marks and eligibility requirements prescribed for NEET-UG and the relevant counselling process.
Minimum Age Requirement
Candidates must satisfy the NEET-UG age requirement applicable to the admission year. For the 2027 admission cycle, the final NTA NEET-UG 2027 information bulletin should be checked once published rather than presenting a future-year date as confirmed.
West Bengal Domicile / Eligibility
Do not assume that every Management Quota seat in West Bengal has the same domicile requirement. Eligibility can vary according to the seat category and applicable counselling rules.
For private medical colleges, WBMCC conducts counselling for applicable Management Quota and NRI Quota seats. Candidates should check the official 2027 WBMCC information for the specific eligibility conditions applicable to the seat they wish to consider.
WBMCC Counselling Registration
After qualifying NEET-UG, candidates must complete the official West Bengal UG medical counselling registration and choice-filling process applicable to Management Quota seats.

Process
Management Quota is not a direct admission route. You must qualify NEET-UG and complete the applicable official West Bengal counselling process. For eligible private medical colleges, Management Quota counselling is conducted through the West Bengal Medical Counselling Committee (WBMCC).
