Candidates must carry the following documents during the counselling and admission process:

  • Class 12 mark sheet & certificate

  • Class 10 mark sheet & certificate

  • WBJEE Rank Card

Eligibility

Eligibility Criteria

Nationality: Indian citizens or Overseas Citizens of India (OCI) are eligible

Age:

  • Minimum 17 years as on 31 December 2026 (for Engineering & Technology)

  • No upper age limit (except Marine Engineering – maximum 25 years)

Educational Qualification:

  • Passed or appearing in Class 12 / equivalent from a recognized board

  • Board: CBSE, ICSE, or any State Board recognized by the Central / State Government

Subject Requirements:

  • For Engineering: Physics & Mathematics (compulsory) + one of Chemistry / Biotechnology / Biology / Computer Science / Computer Application / Technical Vocational Subject

  • For Pharmacy: Physics, Chemistry, Mathematics / Biology (compulsory)

Minimum Marks:

  • General Category: 45% aggregate in the above three subjects

  • Reserved Categories (SC / ST / OBC-A / OBC-B / PWD): 40% aggregate

  • English: Minimum 30% marks (for all categories)

Domicile:
No specific residential requirement to appear in the exam. However, state reservation policies apply during counselling for West Bengal residents.

Step 2: Choice Filling – Fill and lock college & branch preferences in order of priority. Candidates can select multiple colleges and branches based on availability.
Step 3: Seat Allotment – Merit-based automated seat allotment in multiple rounds. Allotment is based on rank, category, choices filled, and seat availability.
Step 4: Document Verification – Selected candidates must report to the allotted college with original documents for physical verification.
Step 5: Fee Payment & Admission – Pay the acceptance fee and complete college admission formalities to confirm the seat.
