The SRM Joint Engineering Entrance Examination (SRMJEEE) is a university-level entrance test conducted by SRM Institute of Science and Technology (SRMIST) for admission to B.Tech (Bachelor of Technology) programs across all SRM campuses. SRMJEEE 2026 is being conducted for admissions to various engineering specializations at SRM University campuses located in Kattankulathur (Chennai - Main Campus), Ramapuram, Vadapalani, Delhi-NCR (Ghaziabad), Sonepat (Haryana), Tiruchirappalli, and Andhra Pradesh (Amaravati).

SRM Joint Engineering Entrance Examination is conducted three times a year in multiple phases (Phase 1, Phase 2, and Phase 3) providing candidates flexible opportunities to appear for the exam and improve their scores. The exam is conducted in remote proctored online mode, allowing students to take the test from their home using personal laptop/desktop with webcam and stable internet connection. ✓ Nationality:

Indian residents (Indian citizens)
Non-Resident Indians (NRIs)
Persons of Indian Origin (PIO) cardholders issued by Government of India
Overseas Citizens of India (OCI) cardholders issued by Government of India

Note: NRIs, PIO, OCI cardholders who have not taken SRMJEEE must apply under International Student category only

Candidates should have attained minimum 16 years and 6 months of age by 31 July 2026
For candidates appearing in Class 12 Board examination in 2026, age should be 16 years and 6 months by 31 July 2026
No upper age limit specified

✓ Educational Qualification:

Must have passed Class 12 / 10+2 or equivalent from recognized board (CBSE, ICSE, State Boards, International Boards)
OR appearing in Class 12 Board examination in March/April 2026 (results awaited candidates eligible)
Recognized boards include CBSE, ICSE, all State Boards, IB, Cambridge, etc.

Syllabus

The SRMJEEE 2026 syllabus is based on the Class 11 and 12 NCERT curriculum, covering Physics, Chemistry, Mathematics/Biology, English, and Aptitude. It tests conceptual understanding and problem-solving ability at the 10+2 level. Physics includes topics from Mechanics to Modern Physics, Chemistry covers Physical, Inorganic, and Organic branches, while Mathematics emphasizes Algebra, Calculus, Geometry, and Probability.
